Objectives and OverviewSouthern DataStream is working to create a training program to support existing multinational and regional water management and education projects in the South Caucasian region, including Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. This training program will seek to impart skills in both the technical aspects of water management as well as the social and democratic aspects of establishing water management goals and administering associated projects. This Project will work in many correlated areas of Water Management, Irrigation, Monitoring, Water Use Education and Productive Multinational Cooperation. Three republics of South Caucasus Region utilize the same watershed bases in the mentioned region, and they share same problems in all, including agricultural, industrial, monitoring, pollution, and environmental issues. The basic goals of our Project:-Educate young people and professionals how Water Management achieved in successful level, how irrigation system and monitoring observation works; -Bring young professionals from all three republics in order discuss main problems, and come to common view of point in water management issues; - Facilitate the possible implementation of USA Water Management Experience, and Irrigation System to the region as a whole, and explain how American System works efficiently. Links to various essential project documents and reports are also provided along with summary outlines of the core elements relating to the development of a water resources training program. Training Needs AnalysisSDS has developed an analysis of the common programmatic objectives and training themes found in these various regional projects and reports. Its training program design is focused on addressing these core needs and gaps. SDS Training Program Proposal (General Description & S. Caucasus Specifics) The SDS training program proposal is divided into two components. First is the core internship program description which is applicable to water management in the South Caucasus as well as other regions of the world.
